Murray Community Education Summer Driver’s Education:

Registration for summer driver’s education will begin Monday, April 6, 2015 at 7:30 AM at the district office.  You may call or come in to register at 147 East 5065 South.   The cost is $95.00 and payment must be made at time of registration.  The first session will begin Monday, June 8, 2015 and ends Friday, June 26, 2015.   The second session will begin Monday, July 27 and end Friday, August 14. Your student must have their learner’s permit at the time the class starts and be able to attend every day of class.    Sessions are limited to 15 students.

Classes are structured as follows:

The first 6 days class is from 8AM to 10AM.  After day 6, class is from 8:30 to 10:30 am.  Some students drive before class and some drive after class.  If a student drives before class, they arrive at the driving range by 7:00 am. Students driving after class go out to the car immediately after class ends.

Students driving before and after are rotated. During the first 6 days all students drive on the range either before or after class, plus 3 students each day will drive on the road after the last range session. So ONE DAY that first week a student will be there from 8:00 am until 12:30.

After the first 6 days the latest a student will be is 12:00.  On the days a student does not drive, they are at Drivers Ed only during class time.
